As busy moms ourselves, we know that finding summer camps in and around Denver is on the top of every mom’s list of things to figure out, particularly since so many book up quickly! While summer in Denver makes many of us think of ice cream, summer bucket lists, playgrounds, and water play, we KNOW as moms that it can also be a frustrating time where you are struggling to piece childcare and entertainment together week by week and month by month.

Thankfully, the Denver Metro Area has are tons of awesome, unique summer camp programs for children, whether they’re into sports, technology, adventuring, building, sailing, STEM activities, arts, animals, nature, or anything else! We hope to take some of the work out of the research for busy parents by providing this easy-to-navigate, comprehensive guide to AMAZING summer camps in and around the Denver Metro area.

Build your child’s confidence this summer!

Avid4 Adventure summer camps teach pre-K – 12th graders of all skill and ability levels to climb, paddle, bike, hike and thrive in the outdoors. Using our time-tested curriculum, our experienced instructors (all 21+ and certified in CPR and First Aid at minimum) give campers solid outdoor skills and character-shaping confidence they can use at camp and beyond, launching them into a lifetime of empowering adventure.

Camps run weekly at four Denver locations June – August.

Inspire the engineer in your high school student!

Come develop, innovate, discover, fly, roll, and prototype with us this summer! At CU Denver, we’re offering six different Engineering + Innovation camps designed to ignite the engineer in everyone. Each camp is designed for high school students, ages 14 – 18; previous engineering experience is not necessary! Scholarships available!

TRACKERS EARTH DENVER

Introduce your child to guided outdoor adventure, fantastic stories, and new friends with award-winning Trackers Earth summer camps!

Trackers summer day-camps for grades K – 10 set the standard of safety for outdoor camps while bringing new and old friends together through fantastic adventures! Campers learn new skills like archery, fishing, survival, teamwork, and more while exploring local wilderness.

Trackers offers one of the longest camp days in Denver. Flexible check-in from 7:30am – 8:30am & flexible check-out from 3pm – 3:30pm. Add affordable Extended Camp until 6pm.

KEYSTONE SCIENCE SCHOOL

Keystone Science School summer camps are for kids ages 5-17 and combine Science, Adventure, and FUN!

Programs include overnight, adventure, and day camp.

Our flagship program is our overnight camp with each session including a backpacking overnight, summit hike, team-building activities, songs by the campfire, and new friends.

Our adventure programs (Keystone Voyager and Keystone Mountain Adventure) travel to a variety of natural areas in Colorado and Utah and include rock climbing, backpacking, whitewater rafting, and more. All Day Camps are all based in Keystone, Colorado and each weeklong session has its own unique theme.

DENVER TOUR CLUB SUMMER BREAK ADVENTURES

Make summer break is a new adventure every day!

Denver Tour Club is the ultimate flexible-schedule, urban explorer adventure camp offering exercise and experiential learning opportunities through field trips.

Along the way we create an atmosphere of fun and mutual respect by demonstrating and setting an expectation for inclusion, curiosity and open-mindedness. Our belief is that these experiences will inspire participants to take a mindset of exploration and kindness into the rest of their lives.

Campers will play at area water parks and pools, challenge climbing walls, tour the Capitol building, inspire their inner creative at the Denver Art Museum, meet some wild friends at the Denver Zoo, see what’s splashing at the Downtown Aquarium, and so much more!

ID TECH CAMP FOR KIDS AND TEENS
