This fall it’s time to get outside and enjoy all that Denver Metro has to offer! From Denver fun runs to Zombie crawls and half marathons – there is something for everyone.


Bike the Colors!

Explore Barr Lake’s nine mile Lake Perimeter Trail by bicycle! Limited to 15 participants. Call 303-659-6005 to RSVP. Be sure to bring water, bug spray and a helmet. Autumn is a great time in the park and wildlife abounds. Come join a naturalist for this special time of the year at the Park.

2nd Annual Legacy Ghost Run

The Legacy Ghost Run is a fun, family-friendly 5k run/walk (9:00 AM) and 1 mile family fun walk/run (10:00 AM) set at scenic Barr Lake State Park. The 5k run/walk is professionally timed on a USATF certified course.

Transamerica Rock ‘n’ Roll Denver

It’s an all new event weekend at the Transamerica Rock ‘n’ Roll Denver Half Marathon in 2016! When you run the Mile High City you’ll see some of the best sights of Denver, including a start line in Civic Center Park, downtown, the Pepsi Center, Union Station and more.

Denver Gorilla Run

With more than 3,000 people running in gorilla suits, the annual Denver Gorilla Run is sure a sight to see. This 5K benefits the mountain gorillas of Rwanda, Uganda, and Democratic Republic of the Congo. This year, the run will be taking place at The Westin Westminster.

Denver Zombie Crawl

This unique 5K event is a fun excuse to get dressed up as a zombie with all your other zombie loving friends. The race is followed by a parade, if you are not up for a run, but just want to observe the zombie procession.

The Great Pumpkin Haul

8500 West Deer Creek Canyon, Littleton, CO 80128

The Great Pumpkin Haul is a 2 mile jaunt through forests, open fields, over creeks, hay bales, and through the scenic Botanic Gardens. There is a catch though: you will be covering these two miles carrying your very own personal pumpkin!
