Fall is such a beautiful time to be out and about in Colorado and with these top fall festivals in the Denver area, there is plenty of fun to choose from for both big kids, little kids, and the kid in all of us. Boulder Fall Fest

Pearl Street Mall between 13th and 14th Street, Boulder, CO 80302

Enjoy food, beer, music, and activities all along the festive Pearl Street Market. Admission to Fall Fest is free and includes all concert performances. Children’s activities are an additional cost.

Parker Oktoberfest

10795 Victorian Drive, Parker, CO 80138

Admission is free for this family-friendly German-themed festival in its 11th year. The festival boasts over 90 total vendors with a focus on authentic beer, food and a variety of activities for children.

Miller Farms Fall Harvest Festival

13912 CR 19, Platteville, CO 80651

This farm in Platteville is a great example to show the kids how a real working farm runs. Take a hayride through 180-acres of fields, where you can pick your own vegetables, as well as enjoy other activities, like a petting zoo and corn maze. Admission includes 5 bags of produce.

Anderson Farms Fall Festival

This farm in Erie has a lot of your standard family fall fun: corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin launching, and farm lights, but also has some interesting attractions for the older kids like, zombie paintball and haunted hayrides.

Denver Oktoberfest

This family-friendly festival located in the ballpark neighborhood honors the German heritage with music, food, performances, activities, and vendors. The Denver Oktoberfest has been said to be the best Oktoberfest celebration in the country, so come enjoy this Denver tradition.

HOOTenanny Owl & Bluegrass Festival

Located at the Chatfield Audobon Nature Center, this fun evening will teach the kids about owls through crafts, activities, displays, and bluegrass music.

Rock Creek Farms Fall Festival

Located in Broomfield, Rock Creek Farms has tons of fall fun for families. Find your Halloween pumpkin and then explore all the other fun attractions, including a corn maze, petting zoo, and bounce castles.

Jared’s Giant Pumpkin Festival

10500 W Bowles Avenue, Littleton CO 80127

Enjoy food and beer while watching the annual pumpkin weigh off event with over $5,000 in prizes. This is a free event for the whole family with a straw maze, inflatables, and kids activities.

Denver Beer Fest

Multiple events located around the metro area.

If you are hyped up for the Great American Beer Festival, then you will also enjoy the Denver Beer Fest. Events include brewery tours, beer bike nights, midnight beer breakfasts, beer-paired dinners, competitions, meet-the-brewer nights, tap takeovers, beer quizzes, and even a beer street party.

Beer, beer, and more beer is what this festival is all about. Located at the Colorado Convention Center, visitors can sample one-ounce beer samples offered from over 750 breweries.

Pumpkin Festival

The Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield is a fun place to visit any time of year, but in the fall it is the perfect place to find your perfect pumpkin. While you are there, visit the other vendors, children’s activities, the working farm, and carnival rides.

Held at the Littleton Museum, you can pick out your pumpkin and have a hayride on the 1860’s farm.

4th Annual Harvest Festival

The Friends of Barr Lake annual festival includes midway games for kids to win prizes, hay rack rides, kids’ crafts, and a face painter. Pumpkins and corn stalks available (for appropriate donation) from their own patch!
