Who doesn’t love a good Easter egg hunt? Grab your favorite Easter basket and head out to one of these egg hunts around the Denver metro area!

Stapleton Egg Scramble

Date: Saturday, April 8

Time: 10:00 am

Children of all ages are welcome to this annual event at Runway 35. Bring your Easter basket and enjoy pictures with the Easter bunny, food trucks, and an egg hunt.


City of Wheatridge Egg Hunt

Date: Saturday, April 8

Time: 9:45 am

This forty-year-old Easter tradition includes an egg hunt with over 4000 eggs at Panorama Park in Wheat Ridge. Bring a basket and enjoy a meet and greet with the Easter bunny and special prize drawings.


City of Brighton Eggstravaganza

Date: Saturday, April 8

Time: 12:00 pm-2:00 pm

Bring your Easter basket to this free event in Brighton Park. The egg hunt is for children up to 10-years-old.


Lafayette Easter Egg Hunt

Bring your basket and join the City of Lafayette Recreation Department for their Annual Easter Egg Hunt. This is a FREE EVENT, so please arrive early to park and get your spot. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos after the event.

Town Center in Aurora Easter Eggstravaganza

Hunt for eggs, enjoy a visit from the Easter bunny, and learn how to plant flower and vegetable seeds at the Center Court in Town Center in Aurora. The event is free.


Denver Recreation Centers Egg(stravaganza) Hunt

Come join the Easter bunny for fun, games, and an egg hunt! This event is intended for ages 1-12 and costs $5 per person. Check the Denver Parks and Recreation Spring Activity Guide for specific dates, times, and locations.


Poultry and Rabbit Fun Day

Chicken and rabbit experts will be on hand at the Urban Farm in Stapleton to teach attendees all about these spring animals. The event cost $5 and includes a hunt for both real and chocolate eggs.


Highlands Ranch Community Association

Bring your Easter basket to collect eggs at the HRCA’s annual Easter egg hunt at Northridge park. Parking is limited and the event will begin at 10:00 am sharp, rain or shine. This event is intended for ages 1-11.


The World’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt at Copper Mountain Ski Resort

Spend the day at Copper Mountain Ski Resort and experience the world’s largest Easter Egg hunt with over 65,000 eggs, spread over 2,500 acres. All ages can enjoy different hunts at various locations on the resort, including those who feel “young at heart.”


The Golden Bunny Classic at Winter Park Resort

Date: Sunday, April 16

Time: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Hop on over to Winter Park Ski Resort and enjoy a variety of Easter events, including egg hunts for varying ages and an un-timed “Bunny Race” down the mountain for children.
