Babies to Boomers :: A New and Incredible Babysitting Service in Denver

We are so thankful that our sponsors at Babies to Boomers invited us to experience their amazing babysitter service that has recently expanded to Colorado.

Finding the right babysitter for your family can be a daunting task. (We’ve gone through our fair share of babysitters over the years.) But as a parent, you yearn for that alone time; whether it is a date night with your significant other, a girls night, or maybe you have a commitment, such as work, that you just can’t bring the kiddos to.

I recently had the opportunity to use a new, fantastic service that is available in the Denver area, Babies to Boomers.  This company is based in Vermont, but has recently expanded into Colorado, and I could not be happier!  They take the stress out of planning for a sitter, and that is an unbelievable feeling as a parent.  Not only do they match you with a sitter that is a good fit for your family, but they are available, as needed.

So say goodbye to having date night or any other activities at the mercy of your regular sitter, and hello to Babies to Boomers.

My husband and I enjoyed an entire Saturday night out at our favorite restaurant.  (Side note:  it’s so refreshing as a parent to sometimes go to a restaurant that has cloth napkins and no kids menu!)  It had been over six months since we had gone on a date, just the two of us, and Babies to Boomers came to the rescue.  Our sitter was on time, showing up promptly.  Our kiddos were a bit apprehensive at first (as they are with everything), but warmed up nicely.  As a vigilant parent, I absolutely love getting a few updates here and there about how the night is going.  Our sitter was diligent on asking questions, feeding the kids our requested meal (and even cleaned up the dishes after!), and sending me a few updates throughout the night. When we returned home after a wonderful evening, the kids were fast asleep, and had a great time.

If you need a sitter for more than just an occasional night out, then this company is just for you!

In addition to on-call sitting services, Babies to Boomers offers both part time and full time nanny services.  It’s refreshing as a mom to know that there is a company who does all of the work for you, including a thorough screening process, which is so important, and ensures that they are enlisting only the best for your family.  You still have the control in interviewing and negotiating, but Babies to Boomers does all of the up-front work.  Peace of mind is important when it involves the ones that we love the most

All of their sitters have gone through the same intensive screening process that the full time caregivers have gone through, and meet the following criteria:

  • At least two years child care experience, or professional training
  • 18 years or older
  • High school grad (most have secondary education)
  • Personal interviews
  • Reference checks
  • Criminal, sex offender, and DMV background checks
  • CPR and first aid training

Babies to Boomers has a small fee of either $20 per use, or bundles for a 15% discount for those who want to use the services regularly.  All of their very reasonable, standard caregiver fees and agency fees may be found online.

My daughter keeps asking me when the nice babysitter is coming back, and I cannot wait to use Babies to Boomers again.  I encourage you to use this company for all of your childcare needs, you will not regret it.  I know I am looking forward to another dinner with cloth napkins in the near future!
