Summer at Ricks blends fun summer activities with rich learning experiences.

Dinosaur Ridge weekly outdoor day camps keep kids moving and discovering in the incredible setting of our National Natural Landmark and outdoor museum.

Keystone Science School summer camps are for kids ages 5-17 and combine Science, Adventure, and FUN!

Programs include overnight, adventure, and day camp.

Our flagship program is our overnight camp with each session including a backpacking overnight, summit hike, team-building activities, songs by the campfire, and new friends.

Our adventure programs (Keystone Voyager and Keystone Mountain Adventure) travel to a variety of natural areas in Colorado and Utah and include rock climbing, backpacking, whitewater rafting, and more. All Day Camps are all based in Keystone, Colorado and each weeklong session has its own unique theme.

The School of the Poetic City summer camps promote the having of wonderful ideas through contemporary art practices, exploration of the city, and art making.

Camps are intentionally mixed-age, for children 5 to 15 years old.

Our 2019 offerings include: Urban Art Camp (June 10–14): visit downtown art all morning, make art all afternoon; Animation Lab (June 17–21): make cartoons with stop action, cel, rotoscope; and Animation Master Class (June 24–28): take your skills to the next level!

Our directors are Peter Thulson, M.Ed, teacher at Highline Community Elementary School, Anne Thulson, M.F.A., professor of art education at Metropolitan State University of Denver and Fred Thulson. All of our other teachers are educators working in the arts.

Get your kids moving out in nature while they educate themselves about the natural world around them with Conscious Summer Explorers!

Campers will explore their inner and outer worlds, self-awareness, compassion, reflection, and appreciation for nature. They will journey through practices like breath-work, mindfulness, arts, journaling, crafting, nature and plant identification, games, and other creative avenues; gifting them with the ability to be in touch with their inherent spirit in any way that moves them.

Colorado Code Club provides opportunities for kids to learn technology and coding concepts while being creative, developing problem solving skills and having lots of FUN! We are excited to offer two amazing summer camp opportunities for young coders (or coders-to-be) this year:

Scratch Coding Camp (Ages 7-11)

Students will learn to program video games, animations, mBot Robots, and Micro:Bit Controllers using the MIT-developed programming language Scratch. All participants will receive a “Scratch Project/Skills” guide and a Micro:Bit Controller to take home.

Minecraft Adventure Camps (Ages 7-11)

Students will go on an exciting journey as part of a world via our exclusive and safe online server and work together to build their own town and complete four epic quests. They’ll travel to faraway lands, battle pirates, parkour through a fiery volcano, sail across oceans, and much more!

We are a field-trip based nature-immersion camp for children 4-to-6 years old designed to enrich each child’s learning by connecting them to the wilderness.
