Denver

Independence Eve 2017 Event:: Monday, July 3rd, 8pm | Can’t wait until the 4th to start your celebration of independence? Great! Head downtown to Civic Center Park, for the 8th annual Independence Eve presented by Andarko. FREE concert featuring patriotic and contemporary favorites from the 101st Army Band, Taylor Rae, and Soul X, an innovative light show, and a stunning fireworks finale are sure to get you ready to celebrate America’s independence! Lawn seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis; blankets or low-rise concert/beach chairs are encouraged. The Park Hill 4th of July Parade:: Tuesday, July 4th, 1:30pm | This fabulous, fun, community-friendly event will once again be spreading patriotic cheer 4th of July 2017, along 23rd Avenue on Independence Day. Stretching from Dexter St. to Krameria St., this year’s parade will be bigger than ever with marching bands, acrobats, and more floats! Stick around after for the Kearney Street Fair with food, music, activities for kids, and more! Event website

Fireworks at Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park:: Tuesday, July 4th, 10am – 10pm | The park opens at 10am, fireworks begin at 10pm. Looking for a day of excitement and fun? Head to Elitch Gardens where you can spend 4th of July 2017 on the thrilling roller coaster and Slide Zilla at the water park, and then stick around for the fireworks at dusk! Event website

Colorado Outlaws’ Mile High Fourth of July:: Tuesday, July 4th, 7pm |  If lacrosse is your thing, head to Mile High Stadium to watch the Denver Outlaws play the Atlanta Blaze! The game will be followed by a fireworks show within the stadium.

Arvada

Annual Independence Day Celebration:: Tuesday July 4th, 4pm – 10pm |If you live near or in Arvada, head to Lutz Ballfield and Stenger Sports Complex in Arvada to enjoy a free evening of entertainment and fireworks. Food will be available for purchase, along with face painting, bouncy houses, and human hamster balls. Event website

Aurora

Fourth of July Spectacular:: Tuesday, July 4th, 6pm – 10pm |The City of Aurora invites you to join them for an evening of fun, live music, delicious food, and fireworks that will light up the area skyline and celebrate the the 4th of July! Boulder

4th of July at the Boulder Reservoir:: Tuesday, July 4th, 8am – 5pm | Lace up your sneakers for the 8am 5K or 10K Craig Towler Freedom Run, and stick around for a fabulous day at the Boulder Reservoir! The swim area will be open from 10am – 4pm, there will be a beer garden at the beach area, and the beachside cafe will be open!

4th of July Fireworks at Folsom Field:: Tuesday, July 4th, 8pm – 10:30pm |After a day of fun at the reservoir, head to Folsom Field for Ralphie’s Independence Day Blast 2017! Great American Picnic::Monday, July 4th, 5pm – 10pm | The fun kicks off at 5:30pm with pony rides, a children’s carnival, a petting zoo, food and drinks. Excitement continues with an all-ages bike parade, and then special music from FACE and That 80’s Band, and fireworks at 9:30. 21st Annual 4th Fest:: July 4th, 5pm – 10pm |Join the Colorado Rapids and Commerce City for an evening of fun, an exciting game, live music, and a fireworks show! The fun begins at 5pm, with the outdoor festival’s family and adult activities including music, an obstacle course, yard games, a bounce house, a beer garden, a bungee run, and so much more! Don’t miss our hometown Colorado Rapids taking on the Seattle Sounders at 7pm, followed by the fireworks display. Highlands Ranch

Fourth of July Bike and Pet Parade:: Tuesday, July 4th, 8:45am | Dress up everyone, including pets and your bikes, and show your patriotic spirit! This event is for children ages 2 – grade 6, and parents must accompany children. The fun this year begins in Town Center at 8:45am., with the Community Parade starting at 9am. Event website

Annual Fourth of July Celebration:: Tuesday, July 4th, 4pm | Don’t miss the fun at the Highland Heritage Regional Park! There will be balloon twisters, face painters, games & inflatables. Fort Collins 4th of July Celebration:: Tuesday, July 4th, 7:30am – 10pm | The City of Fort Collins knows how to celebrate July 4th, from the FireKracker 5k at 7:30am and the golf tournament to the 4th of July Parade, live music, and fireworks – there is fun to be had for the whole family! Red, White & You:: Monday, July 3rd, 5pm – 10pm | Kicking your celebrations off early? Start your independence party on July 1 with the Red, White & You event in Jefferson County! Stars and Stripes Celebration:: Tuesday, July 4th, 6pm – 10pm | Celebrate Independence Day at the Town of Parker’s Stars and Stripes Celebration! Bring blankets and lawn chairs and be ready for an evening of food. music, and tons of family fun. Bounce houses, inflatable activities, a climbing wall, face painting, a tot train, bungee trampolines and more will keep the family entertained along with live music. Live music includes Thorntonfest Battle of the Bands winner, Thornton Community Band, and the Kory Brunson Band. July 4th Celebration:: Tuesday, July 4th, 8am – 10pm | The fun starts at 8am, with the Fire Department Fishing Derby. The rest of the schedule includes fun in the activity zone, delicious food from the food vendors, an awesome car show, a concert by Wash Park from 7pm – 9pm, and the fireworks display at 9:15pm!
