From breakfast with the Easter Bunny to fun runs, there’s family fun for all this Easter! Don’t miss these Easter events around the Denver Metro area.

Broomfield’s Easter Party

Date: Thursday, April 13

Time: 10:00 am – 11:30 am

Preregister online for this event at Broomfield Community Center. There will be Easter games, prizes, inflatables, and the Easter Bunny will pay a visit. The event costs $8 for members and $10 for nonmembers.


The Hippity Hop Easter Trot and Kid’s Cottontail Fun Run

Date: Saturday, April 15

Time: 7:30 am – 10:15 am

Join other runners at Central Park in Stapleton to help raise money for Denver School of Science and Technology. The event includes a kid’s cottontail fun run, an old-fashioned potato sack race, an Easter egg hunt and scavenger hunt, a 5k, a 10k, and a half marathon.


Colorado Railroad Museum Bunny Express Train

Date: Saturday, April 15

Time: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

This annual event uses a vintage passenger coach to help guests experience what it was like to travel long ago. Both the Easter Bunny and Spike the Railyard Hound will be there to welcome guests. Children two and under are free, children three and above cost $5, adults cost $15, and seniors cost $10.


Bunny Bolt Denver

Date: Saturday, April 15

Time: 10:00 am

This fun run includes a 10k, 5k, kids run, and a kids 1k, at City Park in Denver. Activities include a kids egg hunt, a Golden Egg Hunt for adults, face painting, and yoga. Pets and strollers are welcome and awards will be given for best stroller and best Easter pet. Make sure to pre-register.


Denver Aquarium Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Date: Saturday, April 15

Call 303-561-4450 to reserve your spot at the Denver Aquarium’s annual breakfast with the Easter bunny. Enjoy a delicious breakfast and then spend the rest of the morning exploring the aquarium’s breathtaking exhibits.


The Denver Children’s Museum Bunny Trail

Date: Saturday, April 15

Time: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Enjoy various spring time activities, including face painting and a meet and greet with Truffles the Easter Bunny! Museum members are free and nonmembers pay regular daily admission fees.
