We are so thankful for our sponsors at Jefferson County Public Library for providing this post and helping to promote early literacy through their new Raise a Reader events.
Raise A Reader
Everyone knows reading is important. And it’s vital to start that love of reading at an early age. This is why the Jeffco Public Library is hosting a series of fairs at each library location called, “Raise a Reader.”
It’s fun! It’s free! And it’s at your library. Learn to Raise a Reader through engaging and playful activities. Create simple projects to take home and enjoy a snack while visiting local community organizations and businesses sharing helpful information.
The Raise a Reader fair offers valuable resources to help you engage your little ones in TALKING – WRITING – PLAYING – DANCING – and READING.
Each participating branch will also have a special gift for the first 300 guests. Choose your favorite Jeffco Public Library location and mark your calendar for Raise a Reader!
