Denver

Independence Celebration at Four Mile Historic Park: July 2nd, 5pm – 10pm. Head to Four Mile Historic Park for a modern take on an old fashioned July 4th celebration with games, wagon rides, live music, food trucks, and a beer garden. Independence Eve 2015 Event: July 3rd, 8pm. Can’t wait until the 4th to start your celebration of independence? Great! Head downtown to Civic Center Park, for Independence Eve presented by Andarko. FREE concert featuring patriotic and contemporary favorites, an innovative light show, and a stunning fireworks finale are sure to get you ready to celebrate America’s independence! Lawn seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis; blankets or low-rise concert/beach chairs are encouraged. Cherry Creek Arts Festival: July 3rd – 5th. This free, outdoor extravaganza is the city’s signature cultural celebration of the visual, performing and culinary arts! The festival gives more than 350,0000 annual visitors the chance to meet and talk with international visual artists, enjoy a wide range of family friendly fun sample fine cuisine. At the Cherry Creek Arts Festival experience Artivity Avenue, a full block of interactive activities perfect for youngsters. Liberty Run: July 4th, 7:30am. Start your 4th of July off right with a four mile morning run through Denver’s beautiful Washington Park! Registration begins at 7:30am, the 4 mile run/walk starts at 8:30am, and the Kids Firecracker Run is at 10am! The Park Hill 4th of July Parade: July 4th, 1:30pm. This fabulous, fun, community-friendly event will once again be spreading patriotic cheer along 23rd Avenue on Independence Day. Stretching from Dexter St. to Krameria St., this year’s parade will be bigger than ever with marching bands, acrobats, and more floats! Event website

Fireworks at Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park: July 4th, park opens at 10am. Looking for a day of excitement and fun? Head to Elitch Gardens where you can spend the day on the thrilling roller coaster and Slide Zilla at the water park, and then stick around for the fireworks at dusk! Event website

Annual Independence Day Celebration: July 4th, 4pm – 11pm. Mingle with your family and friends, enjoying the free entertainment and fun from the City of Arvada, Apex Park & Recreation District, Arvada Festivals and Commission, and KOOL 105! 20th Annual 4th Fest: July 4th, 4pm – 10pm Join the Colorado Rapids and Commerce City for an afternoon of fun, an exciting game, live music, and a fireworks show! The tailgate begins at 4pm, with the outdoor festival’s family and adult activities starting at 5pm. Don’t miss our hometown Colorado Rapids taking on the Vancouver Whitecaps at 7pm, followed by the fireworks display. Event website

4th of July in Thornton: July 4th, 4pm – 10:30pm. Food vendors, beer gardens, live music, nighttime skydivers, and an incredible “Red, White, and BOOM” fireworks display – what more could you want on the 4th of July?! Westminster

Celebrate America’s birthday in Westminster! July 4th, 1pm – 10pm. The fun starts at 1pm with Uncle Sam’s Splash Bash at Countryside Outdoor Pool. There will be water games, hot dogs, hamburgers, and activities for the whole family! (General admission fee.) The 4th of July Celebration really heats up from 3pm to 10pm– Deck your bike, scooter, or big wheel out in patriotic decorations and ride along in the patriotic bike parade at 3pm! The rest of the schedule includes fun in the activity zone, delicious food from the food vendors, an awesome car show, a concert by Daddy Blue, and the fireworks display at 9:15pm!
