Easter Egg Hunts Around Denver

Who doesn’t love a good Easter egg hunt? Grab your favorite Easter basket and head out to one of these egg hunts around the Denver metro area!


Stapleton Egg Scramble

Date: Saturday, April 13th

Time: 10:00 am

The Annual Egg Scramble is a hopping good time in Stapleton! The egg scramble will begin at 10:00am at Runway 35. Children will be released by age group to scramble across the field to collect Easter eggs.There will also be pictures with the Easter bunny, food trucks, event sponsors and so much more! Make sure to bring your basket or bag to collect the eggs! 

This free event is open to children of all ages.

The first age group in the scramble is children 0-5 (1 parent allowed) and it will begin at 10:15am. The second age group is children ages 6+ and that scramble will begin at 10:30am.


City of Wheatridge Egg Hunt

Date: Saturday, April 13

Time: 9:45 am

Hop on over to Panorama Park for the annual Wheat Ridge Easter Egg Hunt, where more than 6,000 prize-filled eggs will be egg-erly awaiting! Toddlers to 10-year-olds, along with their families are invited to join in the fun! Several eggs have a special prize ticket inside for an Easter basket full of goodies! Be sure to open them all to see if you’ve picked up a lucky egg! Bring your ticket to the pavilion to get your basket! Plus, the friendly, neighborhood Easter Bunny will be there to greet your kids and pose for pictures! BYOB: Bring your own basket. And don’t be late – the eggs go fast! A special thanks to the Wheat Ridge Kiwanis for their continued support and help with this event!


City of Brighton Egg Dash

Date: Saturday, April 13

Time: 12:00 pm-2:00 pm

Bring your Easter basket to this free Easter Egg hunt in Brighton Park. The egg hunt is for children from infants up to 10-years-old.


Lafayette Easter Egg Hunt

Date: Saturday, April 13

Time: 10:00 am – sharp!

Join the City of Lafayette Recreation Department as we host our Annual Easter Egg Hunt. This is a free event, please arrive early and get your spot before the start time. The Easter Bunny will make his annual visit for all the boys and girls, so bring your cameras and a basket or container for all the free goodies!


Apex Bunny Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt in Arvada

Date: Saturday, April 6 

Time: 11:00 am

Saturday morning, April 6 is the day for all things Easter at Apex Park and Recreation District!

First, there’s the Bunny Breakfast, 9 am at the Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada CO. The all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast is served from 9-9:30 am. Afterward, kids can meet the Easter Bunny, play games and take a ride on the Easter Bunny Express. Adults must accompany children, and the fee is $5 for everyone 3 and over. Children two and under are free but still need to register. No tickets sold at the door. Thanks to the Craft Carousel Gift Shop for their sponsorship of this event.

Whether you attend the Bunny Breakfast or not, bring the children to the free annual Easter Egg Hunt, at the southeast portion of Stenger Sports Complex, 58th Avenue and Oak St., Arvada, CO. It starts at 11 am sharp, and the big scurry lasts only a short time, so we recommend you get there by 10:30 am. Be sure to bring a basket.



Hide and Peep Egg Hunt at Town Center in Aurora

Date: Saturday, April 6

Time: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

You’re invited to our FREE family-fun Hide & Peep Egg Hunt and Activities on Saturday, April 6th from 1-3pm! This years event will include 15 individual egg hunts so that we are able to accommodate a large number of kids.

The egg hunt will take place in our play area between 1pm and 3pm.

Since this is a KidX Club event, families will need to check-in at the membership table or sign-up for the free membership, in order to participate in the egg hunt.


Denver Recreation Centers Egg(stravaganza) Hunt

Date: Varies by location

Come join the Easter bunny for fun, games, and an egg hunt! This event is intended for ages 1-12 and costs $5 per person. Check the Denver Parks and Recreation Spring Activity Guide for specific dates, times, and locations.


Highlands Ranch Community Association

Date: Saturday, April 20

Time: 10:00-10:15 am

Bring your Easter basket to collect eggs at the HRCA’s annual Easter egg hunt at Northridge Park. Parking is limited and the event will begin at 10:00 am sharp, rain or shine. This event is intended for ages 1-11.


The World’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt at Copper Mountain Ski Resort

Date: Sunday, April 21

Spend the day at Copper Mountain Ski Resort and experience the world’s largest Easter Egg hunt with over 65,000 eggs, spread over 2,500 acres. All ages can enjoy different hunts at various locations on the resort, including those who feel “young at heart.”
