As things open back up in the Denver area, so return our favorite summer festivals and fairs! Whether you’re excited to taste local food and drink, be mystified by magical experiences, or cheer on the Dragon Boats, there’s something going on in Denver to please everyone!

Renaissance Festival – July 3 – August 22 (weekends)

One of our favorites of the Colorado Summer festivals and fairs is the Colorado Renaissance Festival, located in Larkspur, runs for eight weekends this summer beginning July 3rd. The festival features live music, an artisan market, a hypnotist, a living fountain, a jousting tournament, an endangered cat show, and much more! The family-friendly festival operates rain or shine and has been a Denver favorite for many years. So, dress up in your favorite Renaissance attire and come enjoy a full day of entertainment and delicious food! Tickets can be purchased online for a discount and parking is free.

Cherry Blossom Festival at Sakura Square

Denver’s annual Cherry Blossom Festival will happen again in 2022. Until then, we will miss the fantastic food, arts, and culture!

Colorado Dragon Boat Festival – September 25 & 26

We hope to see you this September, at Sloan’s Lake Park in Denver. While the summer festival would normally take place in July, the Colorado Dragon Boat Leadership has made the decision to reschedule the festival with the hope that by the fall, there will be a resolution to the public health concerns relating to the coronavirus pandemic. More details on the weekend schedule will be forthcoming. The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival will return to its historical July dates in 2022.

Colorado State Fair & Rodeo – August 27 – September 6

The State Fair in Colorado brings together so much of what there is to love about the Colorado and summertime, so head down to Pueblo ready for fun! Enjoy the carnival with the family, check out the best in Colorado’s craft beer scene at Foam Fest, rock out to concerts and entertainment, check out the quirky vendors, hold your breath as you watch cowboys and cowgirls riding and racing in the Budweiser Rodeo Arena, and taste all the best food Colorado has to offer! A Taste of Colorado – September 4 – 6
