Tiffany C. dishes on #momlife – here’s a peek into the life of this fit, fun, giving, blogger mama!
Kid situation?: One spunky three year old, Lilly.
Job situation?: SAHM and blogger over at The Dwelling Tree.
Native? Or “Not so Native”?: Native!!!
Describe your mom style: My mom style? Definitely easy maxi dresses and flowy dresses. Cute workout clothes that double for the park or gym. I always dress for comfort, but try to look cute, too!
{Besides being an awesome DMMB Contributor } What are your passions?: I am passionate about being a mom and wife, and helping others.
When you’re not in full on mom mode, what do you enjoy doing?: I love to write, run, go to fitness classes, shop with my sister, go to concerts, get outside the city, hike, and go to Target. I have an amazing church and I love to hang with friends from there.
Any indulgences?: Chocolate, wine, and homemade bread!
Favorite metro activities for kiddos?: We love to go to museums, parks, hiking, library storytime, and Chic Fil A, of course.
What’s the one thing you NEVER leave the house without?: A bottle of water. I get really thirsty.
What’s the strangest thing in your purse?: I always have an extra pair or socks or undies for my daughter in my purse. Seems I need extras of those almost daily. Also, snacks, water bottles, and usually some odd toy. My purse isn’t really “mine”.
What does your typical Saturday look like?: Coffee first. Park, if it is nice outside… or maybe a hike with my husband and daughter. Definitely breakfast- either at our favorite- Denver Biscuit Company or Snooze, or at home. We love to make pancakes!
What do you most love about being a mother?: I love being a mom because it stretches my heart more than anything I have ever done. It is like half of my heart is living outside of my body. It is scary, for sure, but incredible.
What is your favorite smell?: Lavender
What is your most treasured material possession? Oh- most definitely my phone!
What is your secret to balancing it all? Ha- I don’t balance it all. I think that is a total myth. On days where I feel like I am juggling too many balls, I “unplug” from social media, my phone, and online. It helps me to re-focus my energy on things that matter the most. I usually have some catch up after, but I am ready for it!
Any strange or funny fears?: I really hate prepping or cooking meat. I am also really scared to go to the dentist.
