Are you looking for a fabulous and fun night away from the little ones? Who isn’t?! We’re so glad our partners at the Parker Arts Culture and Events Center suggested this awesome Parents Night Out!
Attention all you overworked, tired, mini-van-driving chauffeurs! It is time to take out the two-seater sedan, leave the animated movies at home with the sitter, and hit downtown Parker with your spouse.Yes, your spouse. You remember him right? Parker Arts Culture and Events Center presents Parents Night Out on Thursday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m. – a true parent’s night out full of laughs, cocktails, and adult conversation. No need to pack snacks or juice boxes to prepare for a tantrum; we’ve got you covered with an open bar.
Parents Night Out is a comedy show for moms and dads who could use the night off. Allow yourself to take a break from the medieval warfare that is trying to get those gremlins we call children to put their pajamas on, brush their teeth, and go to sleep (Why do kids hate sleep? I miss it.) National headlining comedians Karen Morgan and Jim Colliton are joining forces to bring you a hilarious show about parenting, marriage and family. Jim and Karen are both happily married – just not to each other – so they both bring perspectives of parenting to the stage. Through stand-up comedy and hilarious audience participation, Karen and Jim take you on a wild ride through the insane world that is family. I know you’re tired and you probably just want to take your bra off, grab a tub of ice cream, and put on that Ryan Gosling movie you’ve had in your Netflix queue for weeks (I do too), but don’t settle for that! GET OUT OF THE HOUSE… Go on a date, have some fun, don’t miss this opportunity to laugh at your family behind their back.

Don’t worry! They say absence makes the heart grow fonder! After the two of you get a night away from the kids, you’ll be happy to see them when you get home. Parker Arts has just the thing to bring everyone back together again (before they reinstate their boycott on cleaning up their toys).
Just can’t stand to be away from the kids? Enjoy some quality time with the whole family and check out the PACE Center’s Discovery Family Series as Parker Arts presents the Bennett School of Irish Dance on Saturday, March 5 at 10:00 a.m. and Opera Colorado’s Hansel and Gretel on Saturday, April 2 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets are only $5 and the really tiny kids (ages two and under) are free, but must be registered.
